Everyone with a stake in the fruit needs one honest record of it
Exporters, importers, insurers, financiers, carriers, regulators and platforms each take decisions about fruit they cannot see at the moment it matters. We go and look, measure and report, so that the decision rests on what the fruit shows rather than on what someone says about it.

Exporters and packhouses
Why you need us: your fruit leaves, and the argument stays
Once the container is sealed you lose sight of the fruit for weeks, and any problem at arrival lands on you first. An independent record at loading shows what you shipped: maturity, temperature, defects, packaging and reefer settings, photographed and released the same day.
- Evidence that separates origin questions from transit and handling questions
- A report your buyer, insurer and financier accept because it does not come from you
- Early warning on grading, packing and cold chain before the next container
- Programme terms for weekly shippers, with season trend reporting

Importers, retailers and buyers
Why you need us: you pay for fruit you have not seen
You approve suppliers and release payments on documents and promises. Our inspector is your eyes at the packhouse before the container sails, and our surveyor meets it when it lands, reporting in the same format so the two can be compared.
- Approve a new supplier or origin on measured maturity, size and defect counts
- Check specification compliance before payment or shipment
- Arrival and out turn surveys through our partner network in Europe, the Middle East and Asia
- Nominate who receives the report; it goes to nobody else
Cargo insurers, underwriters and brokers
Why you need us: perishable cargo is hard to insure without a baseline
The condition at loading is the fact every perishable claim turns on. An independent inspection with a defined scope and a sign off per container gives underwriters a control they can price, and claims handlers a baseline to compare the arrival survey against.
- Pass and fail criteria agreed with the underwriter per commodity
- One independent record per container, released regardless of commercial pressure
- Arrival and claim surveys for the other end of the loss
- Signed independence and conflict of interest declaration, renewed annually
- Trend packs on dry matter pass rates, pulp temperature at loading and hold point compliance

Banks, lenders and trade financiers
Why you need us: is the cargo real, and is it good?
Pre export finance, invoice discounting and supply chain finance for fresh produce all rest on that question. Our inspection at loading answers it independently, and our report can be addressed to the financier as well as the exporter.
- Verification of quantity, quality and loading against the financed order
- Reports addressed to the lender with container, seal and document references
- Programme monitoring across a season for revolving facilities
Shipping lines, freight forwarders and logistics providers
Why you need us: when fruit arrives badly, the reefer is blamed first
A documented loading, with pre trip inspection, set point, pre cooling, pulp temperature, stowage and seal recorded by an independent inspector, answers the carriage question before it is asked.
- Independent loading supervision at depots and packhouses
- Pulp temperature at stuffing and stowage against the red line on record
- Data logger placement and registration linked to the booking
- Shared reporting format for origin and destination

Government regulators and agencies
Why you need us: an origin's reputation travels in every container
Regulators in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi carry the name of their country on every shipment. We offer an independent partner already in the packhouses: structured maturity and quality data from real consignments, trained inspectors in the growing regions, and collective training that brings exporters up to the standard the market demands. Our work supports the official inspection regime and never replaces it.
- Season maturity monitoring and dry matter data by region and variety
- Independent verification for voluntary or pilot export quality schemes
- Training of exporters, packhouse staff and inspectors to one written SOP
- Feedback on defect patterns and cold chain failures that affect the origin's standing
Platforms, associations and development programmes
Why you need us: one standard across many exporters
Trading platforms, exporter associations and development programmes can embed independent quality control into their model: a single agreed standard, structured evidence captured at each stage, remote monitoring, exception based attendance and training of the operators who capture the data. We have designed such a framework and are ready to implement it with organisations that want measurable quality across many exporters.
Questions from clients
Who we work for, and who sees what
Who is your client when both buyer and seller want the report?
The party that engages us. Reports are often shared by that party with the counterparty so that both work from the same record, and both may engage us jointly. Whoever the client is, the findings are the same, because we work for the fruit.
Can a regulator or a shipping line be a client?
Yes. Regulators engage us for maturity monitoring, field data and training; shipping lines and logistics providers for independent loading records that settle carriage questions. Each receives a scope written for its decision.
Will anyone else see our details or results?
No. Consignment details, specifications, prices and findings are confidential to the client and the recipients the client nominates. We do not disclose one client's information to another, and our inspectors are bound by confidentiality.
